Ms. Frazier

Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Frazier

I was born and raised in Detroit. I have been happily married to my husband and best friend for over 14 years and we have two children together. Our family is actively involved in ministries at our church and in our community. Our children are also active in baseball, wrestling, theater, and band. We both have been blessed with supportive extended families that allow us to do the things we continue to do. When I can find the time, I enjoy crocheting and acrylic painting.

Both of my degrees were obtained at the University of Detroit Mercy. I was blessed with wonderful, passionate professors as mentors as I was a first generation college student and my family, though they wanted to be supportive, didn't know how to be supportive. Because of my experience, I am very passionate about promoting the power of education to positively impact a person's life direction.

With the support I was given and hard work, I successfully obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and I later obtained my Master's in Special Education in the area of Emotional Impairments. I am also Highly Qualified to teach Secondary English Language Arts. I have been teaching for 10 years, but this is my first year at Clara B. Ford Academy. I am excited about the direction my career path is taking with this new position and hope to make a positive impact.

I am passionate about young people. Throughout my introduction I mention all the support I have been and continue to be blessed with. I humbly submit to you that I would not be who I am today without that support. In order to be successful in life, our young people need support from all sorts of people throughout their lives. It is my prayer that I can be a source of support and have a positive influence in our young ladies' lives here at Clara B. Ford Academy.
